Second Chance Education Program offers a unique learning environment
With a five-year plus history, Second Chance has been heralded as an
alternative to alternative education—linking academic rigor to the relevancy of
the workplace. Daily integration of 21st-century skills and industry experience
provides students with an active learning environment.
Curriculum in Second Chance Education
The academic coursework, aligned with the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards,
comes to life with real-world applications using state certified youth
apprenticeship curriculum with 21st-century technology. The instructional model
includes student centered learning, authentic performance based assessment, and
technology-infused instruction.
The district-approved Second Chance curriculum means
students can graduate with their high school class.
